An unusual lipid reference
A defined lyso, ether or other structural analogue needed to evaluate identification in a research assay.

A reference compound matched to your method.
When an analytical target has no suitable readily available reference, start with its exact identity and the evidence your method requires. We discuss custom compounds and mixtures for analytical research and method development.
Discuss this custom lipid ↗RESEARCH-SPECIFIC, BY DESIGN
Illustrative starting briefs. Each requires confirmation of the exact structure and feasibility.
A defined lyso, ether or other structural analogue needed to evaluate identification in a research assay.
Selected analytes combined at specified concentrations rather than supplied as a broad, fixed commercial mixture.
An isotope-labeled candidate standard with the requested identity and label positions for method validation.
FROM IDEA TO SPECIFICATION
Share the level of identity your assay reports: lipid class, chain composition, sn-position or double-bond detail. A reference that confirms one level does not automatically settle every other structural feature. Explain the exact comparison you intend to make.
Specify what is needed from mass spectrometry, NMR, chromatography or other methods. Discuss purity by the relevant method, concentration assignment and any impurities that could interfere. TLC, MS or NMR alone should not be treated as interchangeable evidence for every specification.
These are custom research-material discussions. Certified reference-material status, metrological traceability, regulatory suitability and accredited certificates are not implied. If the study requires them, identify those requirements at the start so the scope can be assessed honestly.
BEFORE YOU START
Yes. List the methods and records your work needs. The team must confirm the achievable scope and acceptance criteria before work begins.
No. A characterized reference supports validation, but the researcher still evaluates calibration, response, matrix effects and suitability in the intended method.
