The lipid you need, with the function your assay needs.
A probe or conjugation reagent should be defined by more than the label name. We discuss headgroup-labeled lipids, custom spacers and reactive handles on the structure relevant to your experiment.
Discuss this custom lipid ↗RESEARCH-SPECIFIC, BY DESIGN
Illustrative starting briefs. Each requires confirmation of the exact structure and feasibility.
A specified PE or other lipid with a requested fluorescent group and linker, preserving the chain composition relevant to the experiment.
A lipid–spacer–biotin structure with an attachment site and spacer chosen for the researcher’s binding or capture assay.
An azide, alkyne, maleimide, amine or other handle placed on a requested lipid for a defined conjugation partner.
Tell us whether the material is for imaging, capture, immobilization or chemical coupling. For fluorescence, include the exact dye and instrument requirements if known. For conjugation, include the partner and any chemistry already fixed by the experiment.
Mark the attachment site on a structure and identify whether a spacer is needed. Headgroup and fatty-acid labeling are different specifications. A probe with a particular label or linker should be evaluated in the intended assay rather than assumed to behave like the unmodified lipid.
Do you need a reactive starting material or the finished conjugate? State the quantity, identity and purity evidence, and any free-label or residual-reactivity concerns. Presentation and aliquots are agreed for the specific material in screw-cap vials.
BEFORE YOU START
Share the assay and the features of the parent lipid that must remain intact. The site and linker can then be discussed; the final choice needs researcher approval.
Yes. A matched control and the labeled compound can be included in one project brief, with their structural relationship stated explicitly.
